Tokoname Yuzamashi (Bowl)

Our Tokoname Yuzamashi is a handcrafted Japanese vessel, made to cool water to the right temperature for tea, and just as at home as a matcha bowl.

It comes from Tokoname, one of Japan's Six Ancient Kilns, where a light brown clay body is finished in a soft white glaze. Every piece carries subtle, one-of-a-kind variation, each mark and curve shaped by the artisan's hand and the kiln, so no two are exactly alike.
